First Last Film

Films that do the job they were made for.

Video production company in Suffolk and London, making films across the UK

Four films made with the people who do the work

  • A young man in glasses and a mortarboard looking straight at the camera in an open plan office
    See the film

    OakNorth

A recruitment film for a challenger bank, with OakNorth’s own people filmed where they do their best work.

Candidates meet them before they apply.

  • A host with her hair tied up standing among full tables in a busy restaurant with arched windows
    See the film

    Dojo

We filmed three restaurants across the UK using Walkup on a normal service, and let them explain it.

It’s one of more than 40 films we’ve made for Dojo.

  • Pupils in bibs playing netball on an outdoor court at Culford School
    See the film

    Culford School

Who We Are shows a family what the school feels like, not just its pool and its labs.

The International Women’s Day film was written by the students themselves.

  • A man in a black polo shirt resting his hand on a workbench in a warehouse stacked with boxes
    See the film

    Rubicon Partners

Chief executives and finance directors at four portfolio companies, filmed on their own ground in Liverpool, Essex, Leeds and Nottingham.

They talk about what working with Rubicon has been like.

First Last Film is a video production company in Woodbridge, Suffolk, working in London and across the UK, making corporate, brand and social films for businesses, charities and schools. We work as a small video production agency that directs, films and edits every project itself, so the people you brief are the people making the film.

What people ask before they hire us

  1. 01

What if our people hate being filmed?

Nearly all of them tell us they’ll be terrible at it. We spend time with each person before anyone films them, keep the crew to two or three, and make it a conversation rather than a script. If someone really won’t, there are other ways, from actors to animation.Never been on camera
  2. 02

    What does it cost?

Most production companies won’t tell you until you’ve had a call. We publish ours. The cost guide shows what a film costs at four budgets, and what moves a quote up or down. What things cost
  3. 03

    How long does it take?

Four to six weeks from brief to delivery, for most projects. If you’ve got a fixed date, we plan back from it, and a rush job can be done faster. How we work
  4. 04

    What do we actually get?

A finished film, cut for every place it’ll be shown, from your website to LinkedIn to a screen at an event. The price is fixed before we start, so the invoice matches the quote. How we work
  5. 05

Have you done this for someone like us?

Probably. We’ve made films for a bank, a private equity firm, three payments companies, independent schools, charities and churches, and for brands including Coca-Cola, LEGO and Chelsea FC.See the work
  6. 06

Do you only make corporate films?

No. Most of our video production services are for businesses, schools and charities, but the same crew makes music videos and band promos, fashion and food films, short films and documentary, as well as the recruitment, testimonial and training films most people know us for. Whatever the film is, you get a video production agency that directs, films and edits it itself.Video production services
  7. 07

Can you do social as well?

Yes. One shoot day can give you a main film and a set of short cuts for social. We also work on a monthly retainer, filming in batches to a plan we’ll help you write.Social media video
